-
Mass Rapid Transit (MRT): The MRT is the backbone of Singapore's public transportation system. It's a modern and extensive network of trains that connect various parts of the city, including major attractions, business districts, and residential areas. MRT stations are conveniently located, and you can use an EZ-Link card or a contactless payment method to pay for fares.
-
Public Buses: Singapore's bus system complements the MRT network and covers areas that may not be directly accessible by train. Buses are air-conditioned and offer an affordable way to explore different neighborhoods.
-
Taxis and Ride-Sharing: Taxis are readily available and are a convenient option for getting around, especially if you prefer a more direct and private mode of transportation. Ride-sharing services like Grab are also popular and offer an alternative to traditional taxis. The other apps that you can install and use are - Tada, Gojek, Ryde.

It provides flexibility and convenience for travelers who want to explore different parts of the city without worrying about individual fares. The STP also offers discounts on selected attractions, making it a popular choice among tourists

EZ-Link Card: While the EZ-Link card is primarily used by residents, tourists can also purchase and use this contactless card for public transportation. It can be used on trains, buses, and even some taxis, offering a cashless and efficient way to pay for fares.
You can follow the steps on usage of the cards here.

If you have linked Credit or Debit Cards inside your phone's Apple Pay or Google Pay e-wallets, you can make use of the NFC on the phone to pay for the fare. Just hold the phone to the card reader on the gantry on your way into and out of the station.
-
Public Transportation Apps: Downloading public transportation apps like "SG BusLeh" and "MyTransport.SG" can help you plan your routes, check real-time schedules, and get information on fares and stops.
